Job Summary

As an Electrical Systems Technician at A-1 Trusses Ltd., you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. Your tasks will include keeping maintenance reports and documentation, splicing and connecting wires, testing and measuring voltage, loads, and ground faults, and troubleshooting and isolating faults. You will also install surface mount and/or overhead cables, power generation, standby power generation, and power conditioning systems, ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures, including swimming pools and hot tubs, and conduct preventive maintenance programs. Additionally, you will read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation
- Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults
- Troubleshoot and isolate faults
- Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
- Install power generation, standby power generation, and power conditioning systems
- Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
