Accounting Firm Seeking Bilingual Professional

Based in Ottawa, our client is an accounting firm looking for a highly skilled Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an exceptional opportunity to grow your career in the accounting industry.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $48,000 and $50,000 per year, taking into account the Ottawa location and the required qualifications.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, including:

  • Bookkeeping: Invoicing clients, processing bank deposits, and managing financial records.
  • Document Management: Sorting, filing, and retrieving documents; verifying applications, receipts, and related records.
  • Communication: Communicating with clients via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
  • Administrative Support: Photocopying, collating, and distributing documents; setting work priorities and meeting deadlines.

In addition to these tasks, the ideal candidate will have strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in project management software and MS Office. Experience with tax and accounting software is an asset.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Bilingual in English and French (required).
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
