Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Joseph Brant Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures, including post-processing, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT procedures, including post-processing, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT technology and its applications in diagnostic imaging.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Completion of formal radiological technology training with an approved school of radiography.
- Recent post-graduate experience in performing all CT procedures, including post-processing, preferred.
- Active registration with the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society (CMBES) or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to respond to new implementations and challenges, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
