At Recooty, we're seeking a seasoned Portfolio Risk Management Executive to oversee our complex loan portfolio. This is a senior-level position requiring expertise in multifamily real estate finance, specifically in community development and affordable housing lending.

Funding Oversight
  • We're looking for someone to proactively monitor funding closures, review status reports, and ensure compliance with credit policies.
  • Responsibilities include designing procedures to enhance and/or automate Portfolio Management functions, especially as it relates to database reporting.
  • The ideal candidate will analyze quarterly financial reports and project status updates from borrowers, identifying early warning signs of trouble and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Collateral Management
  • Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of collateral management, including insurance, property tax compliance, appraisal, and reserve requirements.
  • They'll work closely with the Loan Administrator to maintain accurate records and ensure timely payments of real estate taxes, insurance, and other escrows.
General Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting; an advanced degree in a relevant field (finance, planning) is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in portfolio management, preferably in a Technology start-up or structured financial institution.
  • A strong background in multifamily real estate finance, community development, and affordable housing lending.
  • Excellent analytical skills, proficiency in financial statement analysis, and ability to create amortization schedules and cash flow spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of federal and state real estate development subsidy programs serving urban and rural areas.
Salary & Benefits

As a key member of our team, this role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
