About the Opportunity

This role is an integral part of our team, responsible for performing vehicle preventative maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles. Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and identifying vehicle repair and/or malfunction
  • Performing the vehicle repair or maintenance efficiently and accurately, based on company and manufacturer guidelines and standards
  • Inspecting vehicle engine in operation, road testing motor vehicles, and testing automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults
  • Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade
  • Performing routine maintenance work to ensure the functionality and longevity of the vehicle
  • Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
  • Documenting all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order
  • Road testing vehicles, as required
About You

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance, including:

  • 2 to 5 years of proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician
  • Post-Secondary School diploma or equivalent experience
  • 310S Mechanic License in good standing
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and strategic
  • Ability to maintain professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
