Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pho Dui Bo Restaurant. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of food preparation staff, including training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by establishing methods to meet work schedules and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $45,000 to $60,000 CAD, depending on experience. Our restaurant offers competitive benefits, including a dental plan, bonus opportunities, and free parking available on site.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week. You must be available for shift or on-call work and willing to relocate for this position.
