Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at L'OCA Quality Market. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality products for our stores.
Key Responsibilities- Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise.
- Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand and minimize waste.
- Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers to optimize our purchasing power.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, taking into account factors such as sales data and market trends.
- Supervise the work of other buyers to ensure that purchasing tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Dental plan and health care plan provided.
- Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
