Job Title: Chemical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chemical Laboratory Technician to join our team at 1049585 ONTARIO INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, operating laboratory apparatus, and setting up chemical experiments, tests, and analyses. They will also be responsible for compiling records for analytical studies, conducting quality control, and providing emergency response when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
  • Operate laboratory apparatus and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Set up chemical experiments, tests, and analyses, and compile records for analytical studies
  • Conduct quality control and ensure that all experiments and analyses are accurate and reliable
  • Provide emergency response when required, including handling dangerous goods and transporting them safely
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Chemistry
  • 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting
  • Strong knowledge of analytical techniques, including sampling and spectrometry
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a laboratory setting, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

The language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
