About the Role

Hunter Amenities International is a leading manufacturer of guest amenities, with a rich history of innovation and excellence in the industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compounder Assistant to join our team in the compounding department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support compounders in maintaining high manufacturing efficiencies and delivering quality products in a safe and clean environment.
  • Verify raw materials are pulled from the warehouse and confirm part numbers and quantities on the pull sheet.
  • Be responsible for issuing or transferring materials, and checking route sheets for special instructions or documentation.
  • Service the floor with raw materials for batching, and communicate with warehouse staff for raw materials.
  • Clean and remove totes to and from the washout area or other designated areas.
  • Ensure raw material containers are sealed when put away, and return materials to the warehouse or racks upon completion of the job.
  • Confirm the quantity of materials being returned matches the system, and document any discrepancies.
  • Be responsible for hooking up totes and emptying tanks, as well as maintaining housekeeping and emptying garbage bins throughout the shift.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a compounding department, preferably.
  • 2+ years of experience on Reach and walkie equipment.
  • Reach lift and walkie experience is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Motivated and self-starting individual who can work independently within a team environment with minimal direction.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with coworkers.
