Business Analyst - Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to support our client in the Retail Sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the second phase of the project, focusing on understanding requirements, conducting research, and finalizing inputs.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze customer journeys and identify business opportunities using data-based decision methodologies.
  • Cultivate relationships with global peers to align with global standards and leverage processes and systems across markets.
  • Actively support and optimize systems and processes by promoting defect fixes, frequently occurring support problems, and efficiency drains.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders through information sharing, listening sessions, training programs, and clear documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and products in the omni-channel landscape, turning research into actionable recommendations to achieve business objectives.
  • Act as a system SME, understanding how stakeholders use systems and providing vision and assistance to teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to do research and credibility checks.
  • 6-8 years of experience required.
  • Familiarity with agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP/CBAP certification is an asset.
  • Retail experience.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum.

Assignment Details:

Assignment start date: ASAP - 4 months to start.

Assignment location: Mississauga, ON - Work Hybrid.
