We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Buildings division and deliver innovative projects in the healthcare, education, hospitality, recreational, entertainment, retail, commercial office, mixed-use, multi-family residential, and light industrial sectors.

About the Role

The Strategic Construction Project Lead will report to the District Manager and be an experienced construction professional with successful ICI construction project management experience in the Greater Toronto Area.

  • They will oversee the subcontracting process, which includes facilitating initial scope review meetings, finalizing agreed processes, developing subcontract scopes of work, and managing the subcontract distribution and final execution process.
  • They will ensure that project schedule, milestone dates, and closeout checklist are prepared and maintained during the project lifecycle.
  • They will establish and maintain relationships with public and private sector clients, construction joint-venture partners, financing partners, key specialist subcontractors, as well as other stakeholders, such as design teams, suppliers, and user groups.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15+ years of direct construction project management experience in the ICI buildings sector and a technical diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage Preconstruction in preparing, revising, and monitoring information related to costs involved in developing the project budget.
  2. Negotiate skillfully in tough situations with internal and external parties by winning concessions without damaging relationships and being direct and diplomatic.
  3. Actively participate in industry, client, and community relations to enhance and promote Graham.
  4. Proactively seek new business opportunities through relationships.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 based on experience and location.
