Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lakeridge Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum potential and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and coordination.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on daily living skills and adaptive techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy.
- M.Sc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Certified/licenced to practice in Ontario.
- Previous experience working with patients with neurological disorders preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to exercise initiative and observe strict confidentiality.
- Membership in CAOT, OSOT.
- ADP authorization for Mobility/seating/wheelchair is preferred.

- Must have a satisfactory performance record.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices.
