We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health and Environmental Supervisor to join our team in Hope, BC. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in workplace safety, environmental management, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of safety behavior programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain site-specific safety and environmental programs, including training and awareness initiatives.
- Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections and investigations to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Factory Manager to ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to investigate process failures and develop corrective actions.
- Lead the development of the Safety/Environmental Committees at the plant location.
- Prepare monthly reporting of BlueTriton Brands SHE Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education with a focus on workplace safety or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in workplace safety, environmental management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of federal, provincial, and local regulations related to workplace safety and environmental management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
BlueTriton Brands offers a competitive salary range of $85,000-$100,000, plus a 10% annual bonus. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and encourage open dialogue about compensation during the interview process.
