Job Summary
">The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its team. As a key member of the Multidisciplinary Team, this role will provide assessment, planning, consultation, and intervention services to enhance student potential for learning and ability to participate in the educational environment.
">About the Role
">This position requires a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and minimum 2 years related experience in assessing and supporting students with sensory, motor, coordination, physical, mobility, behavioral, and learning needs. The ideal candidate will have school-based experience and a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
">Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments of students with complex learning, behavior, and developmental needs to set goals and propose accommodations, together with school staff and members of the Multidisciplinary team.">
- Provide short-term direct intervention for students, with the gradual release of responsibility to the school Team.">
- Deliver or facilitate the delivery of programs to enhance student ability to participate in the educational environment.">
- Support students' skill acquisition in collaboration with the school Team.">
Working Conditions
">This is an itinerant role requiring a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. The Occupational Therapist will be required to transport test kits in and out of schools from the car each day and require private workspace for confidential work, locked filing cabinet, access to photocopier, fax machine, and outside phone line.

">The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board offers a competitive salary range of $64,253.00 - $113,928.00 annually, based on education and experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
