Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Plant Process Technician to join our team at 1823 Consulting Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining water treatment systems, ensuring the highest quality of water for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain water treatment systems, including disinfection, oxidation, and pumping systems.
  • Read blueprints and technical documents to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Take physico-chemical measurements on water and sludge, and analyze test results to ensure water quality meets standards.
  • Perform security checks within the plant and on grounds, and respond to customer complaints on water quality issues.
  • Transport and mix chemicals, and operate equipment used to unload chemicals.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field of water treatment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a confined space, outdoors, and in a hot and noisy environment. They will be required to wear personal protective equipment, including earplugs, gloves, hard hat, mask, and steel-toed safety boots.
