Job Overview

NuChem Sciences, a leading Contract Research Organisation, seeks an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join its team. With a strong focus on talent attraction and retention, this role will play a crucial part in the company's success.

About the Role

The Human Resources Advisor will collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement innovative strategies for staffing, HR marketing, social activities, performance management, training, and other key initiatives.

  • Participate in employee hiring processes: write job descriptions, post them on various platforms, analyze resumes, conduct interviews, create employment letters, and more.
  • Plan and coordinate new employee orientations to promote integration.
  • Develop and recommend strategies for HR marketing, talent attraction, and retention.
  • Organize social activities for employees.
  • Act as a resource person for all employees and managers regarding practices, programs, and benefits.
  • Contribute to annual performance evaluations and appraisals.
  • Coordinate and plan training activities.
  • Evaluate compliance with current policies and laws, ensuring necessary updates.
  • Review existing programs and develop, implement, and manage new HR programs.
  • Promote development strategies within the sector.
  • Ensure human resources registers and reporting requirements are up-to-date.
  • Write memos, policies, appointments, departures, and other related tasks.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and perform various tasks effectively.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Sense of responsibility and good judgment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, based on experience, plus an annual bonus incentive plan. Additional benefits include:
