Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Lion Guard. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements and preparing and posting notices and advertisements. You will also advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and prepare and post notices and advertisements.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of human resources software, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Benefits:

Lion Guard offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a comprehensive pension plan. We also offer flexible work arrangements and opportunities for professional development.
