Cybersecurity Manager

Job Summary
Capilano University is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to lead our identity and access services team. As a key member of our Digital Technology Services (DTS) team, you will play a vital role in providing a secure and exceptional experience for our employees and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the identity and access management program, ensuring alignment with our cybersecurity strategy and risk management framework.
- Implement and maintain Microsoft Identity Management (MIM) and Active Directory FS (ADFS) to ensure secure access to digital solutions.
- Develop and manage the onboarding/offboarding process to the network and DTS services, ensuring access is prohibited for unauthorized use and cybersecurity policies are enforced.
- Participate in incident response and provide appropriate levels of response to security breaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience, with 1 year in a recent leadership role with direct responsibility for a cybersecurity program, preferably in a public sector environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a cybersecurity program.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of identity and access management processes, tools, and procedures.
