Data Management Field Specialist

Equest seeks a skilled Data Management Field Specialist to join our Central Canada team in the Northwest Territories. This role involves data collection and management, as well as experience with specific skillsets:
- Hydrometric monitoring
- Water quality and quantity
- Sediment quality
- Biotic communities
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement field programs
- Compile, manage, and analyze data
- Draft technical reports or sections of reports on environmental monitoring, permitting, and office administration
Requirements
We are seeking a motivated, career-minded individual with a BSc in any scientific discipline and 2-3 years of experience organizing, managing, and executing field programs. Strong data management, graphical, and statistical interpretation skills, particularly using R, are assets. Excellent writing, communication, and time management skills are essential. Knowledge of Federal, Provincial, and Territorial regulations and guidelines is an asset. Ability to travel and work in remote locations under various seasonal conditions is required. A valid driver's license and good driving record are necessary.
Benefits and Remuneration
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
