Job Description

We seek a seasoned consultant to join our team as a Supply Chain Transformation Consultant. As a key member of our Delivery Team, you will collaborate with clients to deliver superior results based on the scope of the assignment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with clients to identify and analyze issues/inefficiencies and develop a roadmap for improved procurement processes during Phase I (Analysis) and/or Phase II (Engagement)
  • Engaging with clients and your SGS MP team to implement solutions that result in quantifiable cost savings, improved sourcing capabilities, and strategic procurement processes

In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage clients, develop tools and processes, transfer knowledge, and transform strategic procurement capabilities. This may involve market analysis, supplier analysis, total cost analysis, and needs analysis. You will also support the execution of strategy by qualifying supplier participants, gathering detailed customer needs, and executing Requests for Quote (RFXs).

Preferred qualifications include previous work experience in the downstream oil and gas industry, leadership skills, and the ability to develop, sustain, and proactively manage value-added customer relationships. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is also essential.
