Housekeeping Associate Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Wheatland Hotel.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a 35-40 hour workweek. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Ensure all guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
  
• Restock linen closets and supply rooms as needed
  
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as dusting, polishing, and vacuuming
  
• Handle and report lost and found items
  
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest requests
  
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
  
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
