Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to management.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Standing for extended periods and walking required.
- Physically demanding work with frequent lifting, bending, and carrying of heavy objects.
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
