Administrative Manager

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Manager to join our team at Canamex-Carbra Transportation Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our transportation services department.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Direct and advise staff engaged in providing administrative services, including records management, security, finance, purchasing, and human resources.
- Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the transportation services department.
- Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Budgeting and Financial Management
- Plan, administer, and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies.
- Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services.
- Communication and Reporting
- Prepare and present reports to management committees on administrative services performance.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with staff, management, and clients.
- Supervision and Team Management
- Supervise a team of 16-20 staff members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they meet their performance goals.
- Computer and Technology Skills
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
- Transportation and Travel
- Public transportation is available for staff members.
- Work Environment and Conditions
- Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Personal Qualities and Skills
- Accurate and organized with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility and judgment.
