Canada Arctic Wolf Full time
About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Architect to lead our Integrations and Data Value areas. As a key member of our Architecture team, you will be responsible for providing architectural leadership and technical vision for our R&D department.

Your primary focus will be on accelerating integrations development with third-party security providers, providing insight on how each integration will be used, and designing frameworks for understanding integration health and coverage.

You will also be responsible for defining our data value based on what we're promising to customers, what data we need to fulfill those promises, and how much it costs. This will include defining frameworks and concrete measures of how much it costs us to store and process data on a per-customer basis.

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders and existing development teams to build and own the architectural strategy. You will indirectly influence all of the product team and will be responsible for guiding and coaching technical leaders across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide architectural leadership and technical vision for our Integrations and Data Value areas.
  • Accelerate integrations development with third-party security providers.
  • Define our data value based on what we're promising to customers.
  • Design frameworks for understanding integration health and coverage.
  • Guide and coach technical leaders across multiple domains.

About You:

You are an expert Architect, Software Developer, or technical leader who oversees multiple architecture domains across an organization. You have proven technical leadership experience and learnings from previous projects, regardless of title held. You have been central in introducing novel and innovative solutions, have experience writing software, and have deep knowledge across multiple domains.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience designing frameworks for ingest, event streaming, and API architectures.
  • Experience working with endpoint, network, and cloud cybersecurity and/or other vendor integrations.
  • Experience with data analytics, mining, and interpreting data to identify data value.
  • Understanding of security assessment and detection rules, security investigations, and SOC workflows.
  • Experience with schema management, data lineage, regulating for protection, quota, and data value.

Interview Process:

  • Phone pre-screening: A recruiter and an R&D manager will contact you to briefly discuss your work history and provide an overview of Arctic Wolf.
  • Technical assessment: A recruiter sends you a link to a straightforward technical assessment that is relevant to the role you are applying for.
  • Face-to-face interviews: Several team members conduct two interviews to learn more about you and conduct a technical review based on the assessment completed.
