Job Description for Tailor

We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team at Stars Event Decor. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and create custom garments, including hats, using sewing machines or hand-sewing techniques.
  • Fit, alter, and repair garments as required to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Operate sewing machines efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the tailoring industry.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
