Job Title: Youth Development Program CoordinatorOverview

We are seeking an experienced Youth Development Program Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our program staff, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering programs that promote the well-being and resilience of young people in care.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, registered retirement savings plan (RRSP), and paid time off.

Job Description

This is a full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing program plans that meet the needs of our clients;
  • Supervising support staff and providing guidance and training as needed;
  • Assessing client needs and eligibility for specific services;
  • Preparing reports and case histories;
  • Implementing life skills workshops and assessing client strengths and development needs;
  • Coordinating events and managing budgets;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with youth in care or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Certifications in ASIST, Cultural Awareness Training, First Aid, and CPR;
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel;
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment;
