We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Authentic Cuisine of India Ltd. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring that all food meets our high quality standards.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for managing a team of cooks, preparing menus, ordering ingredients, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Instruct cooks on preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation techniques to ensure consistency and excellence in dish presentation.
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis or for special guests and functions, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Develop and implement menu plans to meet customer demands and preferences.
- Plan and organize kitchen events, such as catering services and promotions.
- Manage staff training and development programs to enhance their skills and performance.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Familiarity with kitchen management software and tools.
This is a fast-paced environment requiring a high level of organization and multitasking abilities. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
CompensationWe offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will receive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
