Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, RhynoCare offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

About the Role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Nursing Professional at RhynoCare, you will be responsible for providing nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.

Your duties will include:

  • Providing timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientations to the home and services offered
  • Ensuring resident transfers and discharges are timely and safe
  • Managing the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to protocols on assigned shifts
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a dynamic team to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent degree
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Respect for each resident's individuality and right to self-respect and privacy
  • Familiarity with relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes influencing nursing home operations
  • Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Clear Criminal Record check
  • Proof of vaccination and adherence to COVID-19 prevention protocols
