Regional Sales Manager Role

The Regional Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving business growth and channel development with new and emerging independent sales representatives. This role will focus on building relationships and educating independent reps on how to be successful using our Company products and engineered solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual sales plans, objectives, and forecasts aligned with overall sales goals for the business unit.
  • Build and maintain a network of independent reps to support sales growth and expansion.
  • Cultivate new customers at the installing contractor level and promote our products to specifying engineers on new projects.
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, customer, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and execute customized marketing plans for major customers within the territory, including participation in trade shows and association events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential jobs/projects in the region and secure bids from independent reps or end customers.
  • Serve as a customer resource for technical and application questions, leveraging internal resources to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Confer with senior leadership on sales performance, review achievements, and discuss required changes in goals or objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • Five years of experience in sales with a solid track record of achievements and closing deals.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and Project 2000.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle high-volume workloads, and participate in trade and home shows.
