CD PROJEKT RED: Revolutionizing Story-Driven RPGs

To create immersive, story-driven RPGs that captivate gamers worldwide, we're seeking an Expert Technical Animator to join our studio. As a key member of our team, you'll work on Project Orion, the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077, and contribute to the development of our animation tools and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement animation systems for characters, vehicles, and weapons, ensuring high-quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with artists and engineers to create optimized animation systems, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain the animation pipeline, ensuring seamless integration with other teams.
  • Communicate effectively with directors, producers, and other stakeholders to estimate and plan work.
  • Mentor junior animators and artists, fostering a culture of creativity, trust, and excellence.
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Technical Animator, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise.
  • Expert-level experience with rigging in Maya and motion builder, as well as UE5/Blueprint.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially with character deformation and physics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Avid and passionate gamer.
