Job Title: Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist to join our team at IWeld Canada Corporation. As a key member of our fabrication and repair team, you will be responsible for welding and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and repair of metal parts and products.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) machines.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications, and perform minor repairs on welding equipment as needed.
  • Determine weldability of materials and select appropriate welding techniques and equipment for each project.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty and hot conditions.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Valid security clearance and willingness to travel regularly.
