NES Fircroft is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead complex engineering and construction projects in the oil and gas industry. As a key player on our team, you will oversee project execution, ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 per annum

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate engineering activities for construction and brownfield projects, guaranteeing timely completion and efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaboration and Planning: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all team members are aligned with project objectives and deadlines.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support through all phases of the project, from design and procurement to construction and commissioning.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and integrity of the project and its activities.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Monitor project progress, identify any deviations from the project plan, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines and budget.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Certification: Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the province of Alberta.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and leading projects within the oil and gas industry.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, construction practices, and project management methodologies.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a hands-on attitude and the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
