Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst for Enhanced Reliability Projects

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to assist our valued public sector client with their ongoing IM/IT initiatives for custom build and COTS application projects.



Job Requirements:


  • Minimum 10 years experience in business analysis, including business requirements work, strategic requirements, and scope documents.
  • Current and valid CBAP certification or another IIBA recognized certification.
  • Valid Enhanced Reliability Clearance.


Nice to Have:


  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment, planning and conducting business analysis activities, and supporting the project team as necessary.
  • Experience developing models and diagrams to represent end-to-end client business processes and environments, operations, and practices in context with proposed changes or opportunities.
  • Experience analyzing potential option solutions and working with COTS vendors to assess proposed solutions to identify the one that best meets the business need.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide guidance and advice to stakeholders, defining needs and providing recommendations that deliver value.
  • Contribute to an agile team environment by planning and conducting business analysis activities, and supporting the project team as necessary.
  • Develop business analysis documentation in a timely manner, including the information and level of detail appropriate to the complexity of the business and the phase in the development cycle.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and general communication between the business and other stakeholders to gather requirements and articulate the business and stakeholder needs.
  • Analyze potential option solutions and work with COTS vendors to assess proposed solutions to identify the one that best meets the business need.
