Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Team Lead to join our team at Shell. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising a team of sales staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Assign Sales Tasks: Assign sales staff to duties and ensure that all sales tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and Train New Staff: Hire and train new sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Manage Sales Operations: Oversee the day-to-day sales operations, including ordering merchandise, authorizing returns, and establishing work schedules.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that stock is always available and that sales targets are met.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure that sales staff are meeting their targets and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a sales or retail management role.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines and heavy workload.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
- Paid Time Off: Paid time off for volunteering or personal days.
