Fraser Health is seeking a seasoned Nurse Practitioner Leader to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide practice leadership to a group of Nurse Practitioners across Fraser Health.

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, supplemented by five years of clinical practice and educational or program development experience in a complex healthcare environment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership practices, including clear communication, empathy, and courage. They will also have a strong understanding of healthcare systems, project management skills, and the ability to innovate and create strategies that enhance and clarify the Nurse Practitioner role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Nurse Practitioners, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
  • Participate in strategic planning and execution of new Urgent Primary Care Centre site implementation in the Health Authority.
  • Source, screen, and interview NP talent, recommend strategies to attract and retain Nurse Practitioners, and visit schools to work with Fraser Health Recruitment.
