Executive Chef

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Whifs Restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Determine the size of food portions and costs, plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
- Team Management: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Setting: Willing to relocate, relocation costs covered by employer.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, team player.
Work Environment: 30 to 40 hours per week, permanent position.
