Job Description

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse/RPN for our Child & Adolescent Mental Health Unit at BC Children's Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality patient care.


About the Role



  • As a Registered Nurse/RPN in our Child & Adolescent Mental Health Unit, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents with mental health needs.
  • You will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Additionally, you will have opportunities to participate in education and training initiatives, contribute to quality improvement projects, and engage in professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
  • A minimum of one year of recent experience working in a child/adolescent psychiatric pediatric mental health care setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
