Responsibilities:- Drive a variety of trucks, including straight and articulated trucks, to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate and maintain trucks in good working condition, performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring that cargo is properly secured and handled.
- Interact with customers, dispatchers, and other team members to coordinate transportation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Meet and exceed safety and regulatory requirements, including obtaining necessary permits and documents for international transportation.
- Perform routine paperwork and record-keeping tasks, including tracking hours of service, fuel consumption, and cargo information.
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
