Job Title: Senior Manager, GO PMO

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead the financial planning and governance of the Global Operations' strategic investment spend.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial intelligence and insights to inform strategic investment decisions.
  • Monitor spend and execution, as well as governance of initiatives throughout the investment lifecycle.
  • Review business cases from across the business lines in Global Operations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior and executive management to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement processes to meet/exceed project governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven portfolio reporting and dashboards to provide transparency around project execution.
Requirements:
  • University degree in finance, business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or project management.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to conceptualize problems and apply analytical techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of MS applications, including Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Expertise in project and portfolio management principles.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills.
