Job Description



The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health - CAMH seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Support Professional to provide senior confidential executive-level administrative and clerical support to the VP, Digital Health and CIO; the Chief Health Information Officer; and the Chief Clinical Informatics Officer.



This is a full-time, temporary position (12 months) located at 1001 Queen Street West. The successful candidate will represent the office of the VP, Digital Health and CIO to staff, clients, visitors, government and the public, and be responsible for:




  • Composing correspondences, reports, policies and presentations
  • Compiling submissions
  • Coordinating committee meetings, including compiling and preparing meeting materials and drafting meeting minutes
  • Support for special projects as required
  • Maintaining the three schedules


The successful candidate will operate as part of the larger team of Executive Assistants working closely to ensure coordination of support for special projects and to various committees of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Leadership Team.



The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree or Community College diploma/certificate in a related field, plus 5 years of senior administrative support or relevant experience. They will have advanced knowledge of office administration practices, corporate protocol, and IM/IT practices, as well as experience in organizations dealing with mental illness and/or addictions.



The successful candidate will be creative, able to multi-task, and support a workplace that embraces diversity and encourages teamwork. They will be proficient at written communication and oral presentation, with minute-taking skills and advanced expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other software packages.



The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
