Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to join our team as a Manager, HUB Digital Learning & Training. This role plays a critical part in the leadership of Springboard's Community Learning HUB and the successful implementation of national learning initiatives across Canada. The successful candidate will steward a diverse portfolio of digital learning assets, develop and maintain partnerships with key organizations, and lead a high-performing team.


Key Responsibilities



  • People Leadership: Lead a team to achieve strong performance and successful outcomes in complex digital initiatives, ensuring compliance with Springboard management standards.
  • Strategy and Business Development: Grow and innovate national HUB digital learning approaches, participating in strategic and operational planning at the senior management level and collaborating across Springboard program divisions.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain and promote national organizational partnerships through excellent community development engagement.
  • Project Management: Execute digital learning initiatives in compliance with funding contracts using an agile project management environment, with clear production processes managed in collaboration with the Supervisor, HUB Digital Creative Production.
  • Learning and Development: Lead and facilitate best practice standards in youth and adult education and transformative learning for all HUB digital learning initiatives.
  • Senior Management – Financial Oversight: Work with Finance to develop budgets for the HUB portfolio, manage, monitor, and analyze financial statements to ensure programs are on budget, and collaborate on strategies to increase financial performance.
  • Reporting: Analyze and ensure government/funder/grant reports are accurate, as well as other monthly reporting as required.

Requirements



  • Post-Secondary Education: A post-secondary education in curriculum design, adult education, digital design, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of learning and development experience, with 3+ years of people management experience guiding, directing, and supporting people.
  • Non-Profit Experience: Experience and ability to work in a non-profit, mission-driven environment, managing multiple partnership relationships, developing business, and driving success.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work on multiple initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, diplomacy, and tact, as well as the ability to lead teams, projects, and partnerships from an anti-oppressive framework.
  • Continuous Improvement: A continuous improvement mindset.

Location and Salary


This full-time, permanent position is located in Toronto, ON, and offers a competitive salary of $74,000 to $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
