Job Title: Construction Labourer and Helper



About the Role:



We are seeking a reliable and skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Ontario Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent physical stamina, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, equipment, and supplies from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Forms and Scaffolding: Safely set up and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Spreading Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as directed by supervisors.
  • Assisting with Framing and Building: Assist skilled tradespeople in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Leveling Earth and Paving Asphalt: Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt as required.
  • Cleaning and Piling Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools.
  • Removing Rubble and Debris: Safely remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.

The Construction Labourer and Helper will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, physically demanding tasks, and manual dexterity required. Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
