Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
Data Engineering Role:
- We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in building solutions leveraging Azure Big Data technologies, Azure Data Factory, Azure platform management, and Azure DevOps.
- This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- You will stay updated with the latest Azure Data Engineering trends, best practices, and technologies, and provide recommendations for process improvements and tool enhancements.
- As a Data Engineer, you will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with Platform Support/DevOps team for CI/CD set up and deployments.
- In addition, you will conduct pre/post-implementation activities ensuring project deliverables are met and aid and support in training for support staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Azure Data Engineer with minimum 5 years' experience, strong knowledge in ADF.
- Prior experience in big data implementations (Batch/Stream/Real-time processing), ELT/ETL, and Hadoop.
- Proficient with writing SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and Views.
- Experience in executing various development methodologies such as Agile etc.
