As a Courier Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, and receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Keep a record of items received and delivered
  • Load and unload goods
  • Sort packages for delivery
  • Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Requirements:

  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Attention to detail
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
