About the RoleThis role involves administering personal care, assisting with daily living activities, and providing companionship to our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans to meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Administering personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Providing companionship and social interaction to our clients
- Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- CPR and First Aid certificates
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 per year, paid bi-weekly, and access to comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous paid time off policy.
Work EnvironmentYou will work in the employer's/client's home, which may involve occasional travel to various locations within the community.
