  • Maintain equipment firmware and configurations of Test equipment
  • Manage repair and return, warranties, equipment calibration and other operational issues

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel throughout Maritimes as required
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and driver's abstract will be requested
  • Electrical/Electronics Degree and/or Technologist Diploma and 5+ Years experience in related field
  • Managing a technical workforce including 24/7 outage response
  • Certificate courses: OHS, Working at Heights
  • RAN equipment 3rd party vendor provided courses considered
  • People skills and management, interpersonal skills

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong MS Office Suite experience, Power BI an asset
  • Adobe PDF document creation
  • Technical document writing
  • Understanding of AC electrical circuits
  • Foundational knowledge of IP networking
  • IP transport over microwave
  • RF Theory and Antennas
  • Understanding of wireless cellular telecom network architecture
  • Radio equipment and related accessories
  • Basic Radio engineering rules
  • Understanding of cell and channel capacity concepts
  • Knowledge of FDD and TDD wireless LTE/NR
  • Experience using a spectrum analyzer and network testing tools
