Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our team at Bunzl Canada. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing procurement team and drive business growth through strategic sourcing, category management, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement team to achieve business objectives, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans, including RFPs, RFQs, and auctions.
  • Analyze market trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and warehouse staff.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as cost savings, vendor compliance, and inventory turnover.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings, improving process efficiency, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
