Job Summary: We are seeking a Healthcare Talent Acquirer to identify, attract, and hire top talent to support the delivery of safe and quality healthcare services in Manitoba.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Form relationships with healthcare leaders and management teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of hiring needs and strategic recruitment priorities.
  • Develop and implement efficient and effective recruitment strategies based on role, industry standards, and needs of Winnipeg Regional Health Authority's healthcare services.
  • Develop recruitment plans by leveraging external communication channels, professional networks, social media, and candidate mining to build a diverse talent pool.
  • Establish high-touch relationships with internal and external candidates as part of ongoing efforts to ensure a positive candidate experience and foster a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Partner with the recruitment team and leaders to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Identify new and innovative sourcing strategies to build a network of key positions through anticipatory sourcing and selection.
  • Execute full-cycle recruitment activities, including intake, sourcing, outreach, prescreening, interview booking, and candidate management.
  • Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to source talent and plan, create, and release job postings that effectively communicate the role and responsibilities.
  • Screen resumes for prospects, interview, and manage candidates throughout the interview process to ensure a fair and unbiased selection process.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in recruitment or human resources, with a focus on healthcare or a related field.
  • Prior experience with applicant tracking systems and human resources software.
  • Experience developing and implementing recruitment strategies that drive results and meet business objectives.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with job boards, HR software, databases, and management systems, with the ability to leverage technology to drive recruitment outcomes.
  • Desire to grow professionally, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development, as well as a passion for networking and building relationships within the healthcare industry.
