Job Summary

The Aide Soignant will assist and support residents with their daily activities, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents with their physical and emotional needs, including providing emotional support and companionship
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition to the healthcare team
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Diplôme d'État d'auxiliaire de vie sociale or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Fluency in French (spoken, written, and read)
