About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Sharing Smiles Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for dental examinations by explaining procedures, taking medical histories, and obtaining necessary consent forms.
  • Supply Management: Order dental and office supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Front Desk Operations: Provide exceptional customer service, schedule appointments, and confirm patient information.
  • Radiology: Take and develop X-rays to assist in dental diagnoses.
  • Financial Transactions: Invoice patients for dental services and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a dental setting.
